Job Description: Burns & McBride, Inc., a leader in HVAC residential services is currently accepting resumes for the position of HVAC Technician for our Wilmington, Delaware location.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of 6-1/2 years as a service technician or equivalent repair experience. Excellent communications skills, exceptional service skills. Strong problem solving skills, mechanical ability and positive attitude. Demonstrate proficiency in fundamentals of gas, oil, air conditioning and electricity. Should demonstrate proficiency and ability to service and repair all types of systems serviced by Burns & Mc Bride, including but not limited to: light commercial, steam heat, heat pumps and related controls. Available for night and weekend emergency service. Skills in soft soldering, brazing, metalwork, piping, electrical schematic diagnostics, equipment installation, electrical troubleshooting, hydronic troubleshooting, and analysis of warm air and air conditioning systems. Supply basic tools and maintain truck inventory. Must drive and maintain a company truck. Valid Driver's License.
