Job Description: Burns & McBride, Inc., a leader in the oil delivery and HVAC service industry is currently accepting resumes for Customer Service Representatives in our Corporate Headquarters in New Castle, Delaware.

Select candidates must successfully demonstrate efficient and courteous customer relations. The candidate will have contact with residential and non-residential customers through all forms of media. The representative will respond to inquiries related to service requests, program offerings, process payments, collect money, and perform in depth account analysis. The representative must exhibit independent decision making ability and support call center goals. The candidate will work in a fast paced environment and must be able to adapt to change.

Job requirements include:
• Experience demonstrating skill in providing customer service to include:
• Handling requests and resolving issues for difficult customers (for example, irate, talkative, evasive);
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when dealing with others;
• Inputting data accurately into a computer.
• Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word processing and email software.
• Ability and willingness to input data into the computer for extended hours of time.
• Ability and willingness to sit and wear a headset while talking to customers over the telephone for long periods of time.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating shift schedules and overtime as required.
• Ability and willingness to learn and retain departmental policies and procedures.
• Must successfully pass a qualification test.
• Must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.
